Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent specializing in Water Irrigation Projects to oversee and manage on-site operations for our water irrigation projects. As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of construction activities, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of the project.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage on-site construction activities for water irrigation projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to create a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to review and interpret project plans, technical drawings, and specifications to guide construction activities.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of construction materials, equipment, and resources.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess construction progress, identify any deviations from plans, and address construction-related challenges.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and material consumption reports.
• Communicate effectively with the project team, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or queries.
• Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure compliance with quality standards and conduct necessary inspections and tests.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in construction management or site supervision roles.
• Must have completed at least one similar water irrigation project (500-2000 hectares).

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, techniques, and practices.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Solid understanding of water irrigation systems, construction methods, and relevant regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to supervise and coordinate construction crews effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to find practical solutions to construction challenges.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration and positive relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality construction standards.
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools, as well as computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing project requirements, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in construction projects.
